Local businesses create a sense of pride for the people who live there. Small businesses are owned and operated by neighbors who are invested in the future of the community. In the spirit of Small Business Saturday on November 25th, consider participating in the I Am Azusa Shop Local Campaign from November 20th to November 25th.
Small businesses are crucial in the well-being of the community. Cities where locally owned business account for a large share of the economy have stronger social networks, more engaged citizens and better success solving problems.
The I Am Azusa Shop Local Campaign is focused on encouraging residents and visitors to shop local. When residents shop local, they identify with the City’s small town charm and feel proud of the vibrant community.
Support your local businesses and pick up your rewards card at any of the participating businesses and City Hall and collect six (6) stamps certifying you have shopped locally between November 20th to November 25th and redeem it for a tote bag! Give-a-way can be picked up at City Hall 213 E. Foothill Boulevard the week of December 4th from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday while supplies last.
