DIY Nights Why should kids have all the fun? Grown ups like making things too! Do-It-Yourself (DIY) Night was a program created to support a space for adults to mingle and learn something new each month. So come get your creativity on. Join us on Zoom each month while we discuss books. Each month we’ll discuss a book that you can check out using our newest service, Hoopla. Our first meeting is on July 9 at 6 p.m. and we’ll be focusing on Veterans. The book we will discuss is Craig & Fred. Check out the ebook on Hoopla and then join us for the discussion. I CAN…is a series of programs welcoming adults with developmental or cognitive disabilities and their coaches/caregivers to learn about a new topic, create, and meet new people. Topics range from gardening, stress relief, working & saving, and more. I CAN… is held in the morning of every month. Email jagnew@azusaca.govfor the zoom link. Family Paint Night...is very Adults and children ages 8 and above . Since you can't build a snowman here in California, paint one you can keep all year long. Join us on either November 18 or 19 at 3 p.m. for a Family Paint Party. Email your preferred date, names, and ages of each participant to childrens@azusaca.gov. A reading group for adults of all reading levels and abilities - from the pro to emerging reader. BookIt meets every Thursday morning for an hour with a pot of fresh coffee, conversation, and the connection of community storytelling. |
