The City of Azusa offers residents & businesses a simple drive-thru service to safely shred their confidential documents. The drive-thru event is designed to make shredding safe, quick, and convenient for participants.
What are the requirements to participate?
The event is open to all Azusa residents and businesses. Bring proof of residency or business in Azusa such as utility bill or driver’s license with Azusa address.
Where do I go on the day of the event?
The event will be held at the parking lot on the west side of Azusa Light & Water building located at 729 N. Azusa Avenue. Enter on the 2nd driveway on Azusa Avenue behind the building and exit on San Gabriel Avenue. Follow staff directing traffic. Please refer to the event map.
Do I get out of the car to unload my boxes?
No. Unlock or pop-open your car trunk so staff can unload your items. Wait for your containers to be returned to your trunk before you drive away. For the safety of our staff, we are not able to dispose of boxes or plastic bags you have used to carry your documents.
How can we ensure lines move quickly?
Due to COVID-19, any vehicles with items placed in a seating area will require participants to exit the vehicle to unload items onto a provided cart. By placing the items in your vehicle's trunk, staff can quickly and easily unload your items and keep lines moving.
What is the cost to shred my documents?
None. The event is FREE to all Azusa residents and businesses.
