Azusa Reads/Writes/Counts and Calculates
The Azusa City Library has teamed up with Azusa Pacific University to help kids with their reading, writing, and math skills. Azusa Pacific University students offer homework help Mondays-Thursdays in order to help children succeed in the classroom. Priority will be given to students who reside in the city of Azusa. Students from other schools will be placed on a wait list.
Azusa Reads/Writes/Counts offers free homework help at the Azusa City Library in reading, writing, and math for students in Kindergarten through 5th grade.Registration and tutoring for the 2019-2020 school year begins Tuesday, September 3, 2019.
A schedule is posted in the library. Parents/Guardians are required to visit the Library in-person during program hours to register youths. Sign-ups will be on a first-come, first-served basis for 1-on-1 tutoring. * 3 sessions per week maximum. At this time, tutoring is conducted in English only.

Sessions are every half hour on:
- Monday - 3 pm - 7 pm
- Tuesday - 3 pm - 6 pm
- Wednesday - 3 pm - 6 pm
- Thursday - 3 pm - 5 pm

Azusa Calculates also begins Tuesday, September 3rd. This program offers homework help in upper division Math for grades 6-12 (middle and high school students). Held every Tuesday and Wednesday 5-7 pm.
