Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zone
The California Department of Foresty and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) has prepared recommendations for Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zones (FHSZ). This has been done pursuant to Government Code Sections 51178, 51179, 51181 with Sections 51178.5 and 51179 (a through g) describe local agency responsibilities.
